MY INSPIRATION
I was a marrow donor in 2011 and was able to help my recipient, Jessica, beat Acute Myeloid Leukemia so she could continue raising her young daughter, Ashley, with her husband, Matt. After seeing the effect my donation had and finding out that many people are misinformed about the donation process, I made it my mission to help raise awareness for Be The Match/National Marrow Donor Program.
Each year I host a charity volleyball tournament and donor drive to spread the word. In 2020, I also became an Advocacy Ambassador to help impact legislation related to marrow donation. Join me in supporting this cause in any way that you can!
